CFP 2nd International Conference (CISPEE 2016): (Re)Thinking Higher Engineering Education

The Portuguese Society for Engineering Education (SPEE) (http://spee.org.pt/) organizes its 2nd International Conference (CISPEE 2016) under the theme: (Re)Thinking Higher Engineering Education

Important dates

  • June, 15 -> New and FINAL Submission deadline
  • July, 10 -> Notification of acceptance
  • September, 18 -> Early author registration and camera-ready due
  • October, 19-21 -> Conference

Proceedings

CISPEE will publish the proceedings in electronic format. A book of abstracts will also be available in printed format and with ISBN. A number of selected, high quality, papers will be invited for publication in international journals such as iJEP and EJEE. The possibility to publish selected papers, in Portuguese, in the magazine of Engineering Education, published by the Brazilian Association of Engineering Education (ABENGE) has also been agreed. IEEE Xplore will index accepted papers meeting IEEE requirements of content and format.

Language

English. There is also the opportunity to submit papers in Portuguese.

The University of Tras-os-Montes e Alto Douro - School of Engineering and Technology will host the event at its premises, located in the city of Vila Real, in northern eastern Portugal. Vila Real is a modern city in the Alto Douro Region that has been producing wine for nearly two thousand years and its landscape has been molded by human activities, its preservation, and its cultural landscape make the Alto Douro an outstanding example of a traditional European wine-producing region.
